If you don’t already know, I love to photograph Foxhunts.
Fall in Northern Virginia creates beautiful backdrops for its most fitting subject. Although I’m still too afraid to hop on a horse, chasing the hunt through each fixture provides a unique perspective that allows me to participate just as much as the riders. In fact, I’ve probably spotted more foxes this season than the riders have!
With that said, it’s been a pleasure to shoot the inaugural season of the Loudoun Fairfax Hunt. Now that I’ve grown closer to the club I connect with these photographs more than ever. Below lies a collection of images in chronological order from Cubbing season to The Blessing of the Hounds on Thanksgiving Day. The only thing missing from this album is a fox!
